Level 1 is a foundation self defense class, teaching basic moves and focusing on awareness, balance, and natural movement. Techniques are designed for the most common forms of harassment and attack, and include basic strikes, blocks and take-downs.

Level 1 highlights building confidence, learning how your biological self defense system works, all about your intuition, and learning how to make space and get away.

BERLIN ONLY: you have the option to take a single level course (5 weeks), or an entire “Track” that includes Levels 1, 2 and 3 for a total of  3.5 months of self defense training (must be taken consecutively).  Tracks meet on the same day every week to make scheduling easier.
